MUST FINISH TONIGHT: My compiler isn't working

Hi,

I have a school project that needs to be complete by tomorrow. I've been strugling with -some compiler errors for some time now. The problem is that I'll try to make a build, but as soon as I do, it brings back an several error and warning messages, one of which says "Compilation failed because the compiler couldn't be executed". How do I fix this in time?

Thanks

I don't know, but you probably had more than a day to do that school project. Jumpins on UA with your megaphone telling people to help you with an urgent matter on a project that is due tomorrow normally have the exact opposite effect

Thanks for the advice, but I'm slightly confused as to why it will have the opposite effect. If I were looking for a question to answer, my personal tendency would be to answer the more urgent questions before the long-term ones. $$anonymous$$aybe that's just me. In any event, I will be able to work with what I have, if need be.

If you are in a hurry you could try a reinstall.

You need to give us a LOT more information. A random error message si not helpful.

What we need to see is the entire code file that is giving you a problem, and the complete first error message as generated by Unity.

Once you have one error, it can cause others, so really you always ant to concentrate on clearing the first one and then seeing whats left.

Oh and yes, as others have said, waiting for the last $$anonymous$$ute and then expecting the internet to help you get your assignment done is very bad time management. You should strive to improve on that if you wish to be successful.

Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on the part of anyone else.
