terrain grass doesn't appear

Question

hello in play mode, the grass doesn't appear except I get closer. I change the detail density to 250, is a little bit better but sill not what I want. I want the player can see all the grass even is far away. how to solve this problem ? thank you very much ps I paint the 2d grass texture on it. alt text

Take a look at these settings: Terrain Settings and turn up the Detail Distance slider.

There will be a limit as to how far you can get before it disappears as I do not think you can set it to an infinite distance from the camera. But, at the maximum setting, it will more than likely just show the color. In that case, I would paint the underlying terrain with a color similar to the grass so that it still looks good at a distance.

hello, is hard to get similar color. I try to use photoplus check the number of the colour but it didn't work. do u have any tips that I can do that. thx

I think you are on the right track. $$anonymous$$aybe take a texture image of grass that is similar, use that as the base color. Take the screenshot (as it looks like you did) and use a color sampler to get the number. After that, add in some additional color onto the texture image. Try that and let me know.
