Installing Unity 3D 4.3.4 on Windows 8.1

Question

I know this is a big problem for a lot of people which is a constant crash at start up (I believe this is a MS problem). I have been using an older model and to do a 2D game, I the latest free program to launch it.

Any help?

I haven't had a problem ever with Unity and windows 8.1

Unity runs awesome and Mono runs awesome. Mono never crashes, unity will only crash if my code makes it crash, but I usually know what causes it if it happens so easily fixable and just restart unity.

Other than that, I'm not really sure what the rest of your post means.

UPDATE: I don't know if it was the updates or a bad graphic or code that caused the crashing to occur, but now the program works just fine. I guess it was all the finger crossing ^_^.
