Nonexistant joystick being detected

There are a few Unity Webplayer games I'd like to play, but it's made impossible by a nonexistant joystick being detected, which is always tilting up. I've checked for virtual joysticks, reinstalled the Webplayer, restarted my computer and used alternate user accounts, but have had no success. This is ONLY an issue with the Unity Webplayer, and nothing else.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
