Question by Sausager · May 27, 2014 at 07:49 PM · wwwaudioclip www load

WWW fails to detect ogg audio format when parameters present in url

I use GameSparks server service and am trying to set up .ogg audio streaming from their blob hosting solution. However the download url I get for the .ogg file contains parameters after the filename. While the .ogg file extension is right there in the url, it appears the parameters confuse UnityEngine.WWW.GetAudioClip about audio format:

 Unable to determine the audio type from the URL (http://gamesparksbetabinaries.blob.core.windows.net/game-123456/123456789-Dj%20Tabora%20-%20Dashboard%20Baby.ogg?sp=r&sr=b&sv=2012-02-12&se=2014-05-27T19%3A30%3A32Z&st=2014-05-12345678&sig=12345678) . Please specify the type.
 UnityEngine.WWW:GetAudioClip(Boolean, Boolean)

(I won't copy-paste any code here as it works just fine with the reference url http://www.vorbis.com/music/Epoq-Lepidoptera.ogg)

Any ideas how to work around this issue?

Oops should have RTFM eh :) Didn't notice the overload that takes audio format as parameter. AudioClip GetAudioClip(bool threeD, bool stream, AudioType audioType);
