Question by aceleeon5 · Jun 19, 2014 at 12:50 AM · erroritweencs0246import assets

itween imports into compile errors

I import Itween, and it gives me a flurry of compile errors. I don't know what to do. this assest sounds so promosing, but just getting it into a project bug free, has been a 4 day hassle. If anybody can tell me how to stop the following errors that would be great.

Assets/Plugins/iTweenEventDataEditor.cs(39,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name iTweenEvent' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? Assets/Plugins/iTweenPathEditor.cs(10,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name iTweenPath' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?

If you start with a new and completely empty project and you import the latest version of iTween from the Asset store, do you still get these errors?

What version of unity are you using? I just recently imported itween without problem. Looking at your error, the Editor scripts are located in the Plugins directory. Did you manually move them there? editor scripts must always be in a directory called Editor.

I figured out how to stop the errors by 1: searching my scripts for the "missing" files the compiler was talking about 2: moving those all of compile error scripts into a folder I named 'plugins' 3: put plugins folder inside of assets folder

Go get em team!
