Rotation on Y axis

I'm making a flight simulator and so far I have pitch and roll, but right now I can only turn by rolling 90 degrees and then using pitch to turn. I want to add yaw control with A and D (I used the arrow keys for roll and pitch and W and S for throttle). How should I script it? I'm thinking of using

 if (Input.GetKey(Keycode.A)){
 transform.rotate ...

And that's where I'm totally confused. I'm relatively new to Unity and I don't know if what I put is right. Can anybody help with how I can get it to rotate on the Y axis?
