Question by SpartiXus · Oct 29, 2014 at 12:40 PM · fullscreen

How to fix Fullscreen on OSX in resolution other than default does not render correctly

As a result of issues I had with an App to replicated the problem I have create a simple scene with a Camera in a empty project with the only package included being the skybox package.

The Scene contains a Camera with a Skybox Attached. To the Camera I have added a script that pans the camera with the mouse.

I am using a Mac Pro with a 1080P monitor with a ATI Radeon graphics card.

Starting the app windows in all resolutions works fine, however when entering fullscreen mode in any other resolution other than 1080p causes the camera to lock and not render correctly.

I am completely baffled by this behaviour and do not have the faintest idea on how to resolve this problem.

Any suggestions. Anybody???

Thanks Bernie

What do you mean by "lock and not render correctly"?

Let me provide a package and some screenshots. When I say lock. Pan does not work. The camera appears to freeze completely. The app does not hang as I added some background music to test this. It played perfectly.

$$anonymous$$y Apologies, The zip file is the app. I swapped the last links around by mistake. :-)

Can't personally test this issue since I'm not on OSX, but can you clarify what you mean by "The same occurs for several different application"? It sounds as if you're saying this "bad cropping" effect occurs for non-native-res applications besides Unity Standalone Player?

I'm reading some info about cropping issues for $$anonymous$$ac Standalone. http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/strange-cropping-issue.210939/ Have you tried searching for other questions that might address similar issues?
