Make an object flicker with another object when trigger is activated

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to Unity and learning C# / Javascript on the side. I'm looking to create a script that is a combo of a basic follow script, a 3d text tag, a main object, and an object that appears to flicker in place of the main object.

We'll call these Main.obj, Lesser.obj, and (string) Tag.

What I'm creating is a games where as you approach a this object, you trigger an invisible sphere, which begins to make the objects flicker back and forth between one another (a becomes b becomes a etc.) and the text tag fades in and stays as a follower to the flickering object.

Any thoughts on the best coding work flow? Should these be separate scripts?

@jaker09 , I don't understand your question properly. but i understand this much. You have one Trigger(let's call LaserTriggerGameObject) , a Flicker Object(let's call LaserGameObject)and 3DText To Follow Laser(Let's call LaserNameTextGameObject). you want to on LaserGameObject when LaserTriggerGameObject is triggered. and 3DText is follow the LaserGameObject.

I think you might not to use follow script you can make LaserNameTextGameObject child of LaserGameObject. so it is always eith LaserGameObject.

And acoording to link . you should make multiple script for your game.
