How to detect touch or click on GameObject's specific areas

Hello !

I'm working on a unity 2D project.

I'm trying to reproduce some click or touch manipulation on sprites.

i already did the drag on sprites.

what i'd like to do now is to detect where on the sprite a user had touched like on the center, top-right corner, top-left corner ..

My first thaught was to attach 5 box colliders to my sprite, one for the whole area of the sprite, and one for each corner and detect the act accordingly to which one has been touched ..

I did not find a way to differenciate one box collider from another ..

Is there a way to achieve that ? if not what would be the best solution to make this ?

the point of this would be to be able to drag my sprite by a corner and apply the good rotation on it like you would do with a scatter view on surface SDK.

Thank you all for reading and helping ! :)

So basically you want to set a pivot point on a sprite where the mouse click was performed and rotate it from there? Or you need exactly fixed point locations(top right, top left, bot right, bot left, center)which eventually end up again pivot points and rotate it from the fixed points?

The best would be to have the 5 fixed points and be able to rotate the sprite from those points
