How to make a 2d aim be controlled by a joystick pad?

Hey,after a hard work(i´m a newbie) i did a touch aim,my character arm follow/look at the position of the touch position.But after a while i decided to make he aim by a joystickpad area,and i have no idea how to do,or even where to start,please help.

The idea is ,to use the same anlge of the pad in his arm rotation,and aim...

Here is how it is,and how i want it to be:

Have you had a look at the Standard Assets($$anonymous$$obile) Joystick script?

You dont understand. I really dont know script stuff,just basic . i Look the joystick script, and is a totaly strange language, i really need help. I dont see how to go with the logic that i want for the aim.

is like,maybe transform the area of the pad in a translated position of the screen,or the opposite?i dont know
