Question by msf567 · Nov 19, 2014 at 01:09 AM · crashupdateoculusriftdx114.1

EntryPointNotFoundException: OVR_SetDX11EditorPlay

I'm the using Oculus Rift 4.1 package with Unity and every time I run the example "cubes" scene, my console displays "EntryPointNotFoundException: OVR_SetDX11EditorPlay".

Is this something to do with my graphics drivers? Firmware? I can't tell whats wrong because I've been developing in unity and the rift for months with no issues and this seems out of nowhere.

I've updated my drivers, I have re-imported the 4.1 package (I can't use 4.3 because it doesn't work either, I have been working with 4.1 this whole time so i'm sticking with that version for now).

When I google this error literally no results show up.

Really any help would be so greatly appreciated, there is a lot riding on my getting this to work again :(

There's that, but you can also force the editor itself to start in DX9 or 11 mode and force OpenGl mode.
