New UI Canvas not showing in web player

Question

Unity 4.6.0b20

Canvas with Text element shows when running wit$$anonymous$$n Unity - but does not show when deployed to web player.

Tried all 3 render modes for Canvas.

No issues with displaying other game objects - game works in web player; just doesn't show the Canvas (and text on it).

Any suggestions?

sorry - didn't get a chance to update the post. 4.6 release fixed the issue.

Bit of a stab in the dark but unity 4.6 actual release is out so if it's a bug in your release worth upgrading to the full release.
