Are you sure it has nothing to do with you using both slashes and back slashes in the paths on your configurations?

I mean, watching your error message, the paths are really messed up with the slashes's directions, I don't know in which platform are you developing on anyway.

AAPT was moved from tools to build-tools a w$$anonymous$$le ago, in an Android SDK update from Google. W$$anonymous$$ch version of Unity are you using? We fixed that for 4.5.2 (IIRC), please upgrade to the latest available Unity version.

Edit: I mixed up aapt and zipalign :( aapt error usually means an error with resources and manifest.

Indeed, I believe I had this error once, which was solved by updating my Platform and Build tools in the Android SDK manager.

I am using unity 4.6.f1. Updating platform tools didn't help me either. Please give me a solution

Please update Unity to the latest version, not the build-tools.

not the build-tools

AND the Build tools. You just need to make sure that you use the correct Build tools for the API version.

It makes no sense whatsoever to update everything except the most important part of the API.

(Case 658630) whenever i try to build my application it says re-packaging

First of all, you are using 4.6.0b17 version of Unity, please update it to the latest 4.6.1.

Second, you are using build-tools v20.0.0, while the latest is 21.1.2.

Third, you never pasted the actual error: "AndroidManifest.xml:9: error: Error: No resource found that matches the given name (at 'value' with value '@integer/google_play_services_version')."

Two top links on this error in google: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/help-cant-build-project-after-trying-to-use-google-play-services.243284/ http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/760989/failed-to-re-package-resources-2.html
