Game being compressed in portrait orientation, 1080p

I am making a game that is designed to only work with a portrait 1080p resolution screen. When i run the EXE. I select 1920 x 1080 and it compresses the game...as if it were taking a 1080p lamdscape orientation and scalling it to fit the 1080p portrait aspect. See attached images. I could swear i had this working w/o any scripts...anyone got any ideas? thanks Robalt text
