The player does not walk according to the floor

Hello people, I truly need your help.

I took the video course on YouTube Shooter, I just tried to change the background, “The terrain” but the player only walks in straight line on the floor, how could I make it walk according to the terrain? The environment which I downloaded was the medieval environment; there are some mountains and paths. When it walks sometimes walks on air sometimes on floor and sometimes it does not appear. How could I make it walk on the floor? alt text

I am not really sure what you are asking, as you're English seems to be not your native language, so I am gonna take a guess and just say, try adding to your script that the player's transform or the rigidbody of the player is "pushed" downwards (Or along the y axis) towards the ground by Time.deltaTime until it collides with the floor. This has worked for me in the past. Or even perhaps checking to see if the Character Controller or Collider is just larger than the graphic of the character himself. If it is an imported Asset you may have to resize the collider box. Try watching a YouTube.Com Character movement Tutorial.
