Question by toddisarockstar · Jan 27, 2015 at 07:30 PM · 2dsprite editor

sprite editor will not apply selections.

I have watched a couple tutorials which seem to be a very simple process to create several sprites from one image. the tutorials seem to show its as simple as putting a png image into the assets folder, changing the texture type to "sprite" and "multiple". then I open the editor and make sprite selections and push apply. when I close the editor it says "changes not applied would you like to save?". I click yes and still get nothing. I cant get my image chopped up.

I am using a 512x512 png image.

is there some step im missing?

I'm having the same issue. i'm not prompted with "changes not applied". i select one from my sheet, hit apply, it almost appears as though something hits my asset folder for half a second, but nothing appears. to clarify as well; yes i have "multiple" selected, texture type is sprite (2d and ui), pixel per unit 16, no filter, no compression, max size 64. unity 2019.3.15f1 attempting with autoslice and applying also produces nothing. nothing in console to indicate a problem
