Script update's but not effect anything

i have a car drive script, when i made changes on it nothing change about my car.

if i make something wrong, like syntax unity detectes it.

its like there is 2 script and i am changing wrong one but i am sure there is only one script.

what it could be?

$$anonymous$$indly post information as to how your scene is structured, where is/are this script attached, what is your script and also elaborate on your problem with a perspective on expected behavior and current behavior.

Technically @moghes it's more of a "guess what's in my script and guess which bits I'm changing" type question. The only thing we have any certainty about is that a car is involved somehow and that the compiler is still working.

The only conclusion I can think of is the script isn't on a GameObject in the hierarchy.
