Can't controll gameobject after playing an animation.

Here's the situation. I got a player gameobject and I wrote a script myself to make it move horizontally according to key inputs and drop vertically with an increasing speed simulating the gravity. Then I used the built-in mecanim animation system to create an animation clip for it. It is when it collides with a specific gameobject it rotates 540 degrees and becomes smaller. I also created an animation clip "PlayerIdle", with an unchanging Transform.Scale curve in it. When I run the game, the player drops normally and landed on a ground at first. But when it collides with the specific gameobject, it played the animation. But when it leaves the ground, it won't drop anymore. The gravity holds no more control over the object, it just remains unchanged in the y axis. I can still move it horizontally with arrow keys. Note that before I make the animation clips the player drops before landing, remain still in y axis while landed, and drop again if going off the ground. All the colliders are trigger also. Please help.
