Camera zooming effect

Hi guys. In my game I wanted to add a zoom out effect at the start of each level so I figured out this:

 camera.orthographicSize = Mathf.Lerp (1f, 5f, Time.time/2);

This works perfectly when I run my app on unity but it doesn't work when I run it on my android phone. Any idea why this happens?

Is Time.time correctly updated on the android phone?

Honestly I don't know how to check it...

One way to have it show up on your phone is to use the new UI. Add Canvas Text UI (via gameObject->UI->Text). You should see "New Text" on you screen. Then, go to the newly created objects in the inspect and select Text (it is a child of Canvas). The add the following script to it.

 using UnityEngine;
 using UnityEngine.UI;

 public class NewBehaviourScript : $$anonymous$$onoBehaviour {
     void Update() {
         gameObject.GetComponent<Text>().text=Time.time.ToString();
     }
 }

Thank you for your answer. I checked. The Time.time value shows the elapsed time since the application starts, right? The effect I want to show only starts when I start playing the levels of my game, so when the user presses the play button in the start scene. Now I know what the problem is but how can i fix it?
