Rotation and screen position problems on iOS 8

Hi,

I have a pretty old app (landscape only) that is now having rotation and screen position problems in iOS 8. During the splash screen, the image rotates from landscape to portrait and seems stretched and positioned incorrectly (see black because the image is off screen).

Once the app is loaded, the view is positioned incorrectly (seems offset from 0,0 for some reason).

I've seen some threads discussing similar issues:

Ideally, I wouldn't upgrade the Unity version for the project because it is old and has a bunch of Xcode edits it would be difficult to remake. Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the files Unity creates in the Xcode project to resolve this problem? I figure there should be something in AppController.mm that controls the position of the view on the screen and/or the splash screen but I haven't been able to get it to work.

Thanks, Jared
