Unity Shadows not working

alt textI'm having some problems with shadows in the roll-a-ball tutorial, my drivers and os are up to date. I went through the manual and did all of the trouble shooting but it still didn't work. So then I tried turning off direct x 11 and still nothing. I have an ATI Radeon 1300 graphics card. Any help is Appreciated. Thanks. Edit: I have tried changing my quality settings and they are to their highest settings i also increased shadow distance and still nothing. I also have cast and receive shadows for both objects.

And of course the ball and "terrain" have "cast and receive shadows" attributes set to "on/true" in the mesh renderer component?

As $$anonymous$$ said, check if your objects have "cast and receive shadows" set to true. Beside that, go to Edit -> Project Settings -> Quality, select your quality level, select the shadow type you want and increase the shadow distance until the shadows are visibile in your scene.

try to get closer to the object, in quality settings there is a property called shadow distance, and the shadows will not appear unless you get closer to the object

As the other guys have mentioned check to see if your objects are set to cast/receive shadows.

Shadow distance is another thing to check (in settings)

Adjust your actual quality settings, try a higher setting and see what that does.
