Point Light shadows not working on older projects

Hi everyone,

I've encountered in problem in unity 5 where point and spot light shadows should be enabled now. However i'm not getting any shadows from point light in my older scene. If i open a new one in the same project it seems to work but in my old one i just get shadows from directional light sources.

I also tried to copy all gameobjects into a new scene and creating a poitn light afterwards, but didn't work.

Can someone help me please

PS: all my objects are set on castshadows and receive shadows so that is not the problem
