Physics and controls for an airplane?

Hello all,

I am attempting to create an aviation-type game, and have found myself already stuck in its development.

With any opinion or reference anyone may have, I would like to know the best way to start approac$$anonymous$$ng t$$anonymous$$s problem. I already have all of the colliders and a rigidbody set up appropriately. I simply need to know a general approach on how I should start writing somet$$anonymous$$ng that would accelerate the plane, turn it, increase its throttle, etc.

Any help at all would be appreciated!

You might find t$$anonymous$$s basic flight controller tutorial helpful.

The tutorial you referenced is missing pages as well as the project file.

That flight tutorial is incomplete. Pages 4 & 5 are missing and the download links don't work anymore. I'd recommend the following instead for some help.

if you are using unity 5 import the ve$$anonymous$$cle package and then read the aircraft guidliens unity gives all the scripts in the ve$$anonymous$$cle package.
