Question by andycol · Jun 11, 2015 at 08:54 AM · drag-and-drop

how to do the drag object scrpt on c# using DK2 and a reticle as a pointer

Hi everyone, im trying to develope a simple proyect using the DK2. i've created a small reticle to use as a pointer to select te game objects on the scene, but what i really want to do is whit that reticle, using a keyboard key (example "e") select the game object im facing at, and drag it arround the scene, does any one have a solution for this, cause i have no idea of what else i have to do.

PS: te reticle script i've done, i made it whit help of some tutorials on the net.`using UnityEngine; using System.Collections;

public class Reticle : MonoBehaviour { public Camera CameraFacing;

 private Vector3 originalScale;

 // Use this for initialization
 void Start () {

     originalScale = transform.localScale;
 }

 void Update () {
     RaycastHit hit;
     float distance;
     if (Physics.Raycast (new Ray (CameraFacing.transform.position,
                                  CameraFacing.transform.rotation * Vector3.forward),
                          out hit)) {
         distance = hit.distance;
     }
     else {
         distance = CameraFacing.farClipPlane * 0.95f;
     }
     transform.position = CameraFacing.transform.position +
         CameraFacing.transform.rotation * Vector3.forward * distance;
     transform.LookAt (CameraFacing.transform.position);
     transform.Rotate (0.0f, 180.0f, 0.0f);
     if (distance < 7.0f) {
         distance *= 1 + 5*Mathf.Exp (-distance);
     }
     transform.localScale = originalScale * distance;

 }}`
