Question by unity_webqam · Jun 11, 2015 at 10:44 AM · iosunity 4.664bitsubmission

Cannot submit iOS application

Hello,

We would like to submit a new version of our mobile application on the Apple store but we're faced to several issues.

We are using the licensed 4.6.6 pro version of Unity for both MAC and Windows computer.

First, we tried to build our version from a MAC but in the "Player settings" of the build, we were set to :

Scripting Backend > Mono(2.x)

Architecture > ARMv7 (by default, can't update it)

and we were faced to a problem that recently, Apple force developpers to create applications in "normal" version and in a 64b version. However, when the project was started, it was not even possible to create 64b projects.

So we edit the Player settings of the build to :

Scripting Backend > IL2CPP

Architecture > Universal

and then, we started to try to gradually fix issues we encountered.

We cannot build on MAC anymore because of this IL2CPP module. Indeed, it was trying to run a "il2cpp.exe" on a MAC which gives an error, and disable the build.

So we decided to build on a Windows 7. Setting up the player settings of the build, ect... But this time, we have another error displayed in the Unity console, the XCodeEditor cannot be found.

Anyway, this error appears at the end of the build, and doesn't stop it. So we take this build to XCode on the MAC, setting up everything in the editor.

and then build. At the end of it, we were faced to several issues again. First, it was some errors from the "Good Ol' Sockets" plugin when we upgraded it, they all disappear and now, we have the error in the picture below.

We tried to upgrade the Facebook SDK plugin but errors kept remaining.

So now we are here and we don't know what to do. We've looked on the web and in Unity forums some other guy having the same issue as we do but nothing to resolve our problem.

Thank you for your time. Regards
