Saving script variables state with CreatePrefab

I'm creating a procedural terrain, and to avoid doing all the math all the time, I'm trying to save all the tiles on prefabs with PrefabUtility.CreatePrefab() There's a script on the tiles where I store information that are useful later, but they are not being saved to the prefab. I tried private and NonSerialized vars, they always come empty when I load the prefab later. Is there anyway to sabe all the state of my scripts with the prefab?

btw, I'm using JS, not C#
