Question by ZacGarby · Jun 21, 2015 at 11:37 AM · graphicsparentparticleemitter

How to make particles not move with the emitter.

When I make a particle system, the particles it emits just follow the emitter as if they were c$$anonymous$$ldren of it. Is there a way to stop t$$anonymous$$s?

Set the ParticleSystem's Simulation Space to "World".

Thanks - but i notice all my settings then need adjusting - particles don't seem to be as strong, i've had to up my particle size, but i'm not sure that's all I need to adjust, it doesn't look the same. Do you know what else goes wrong when you change simulation space (my scaling mode was local and had custom scaling)
